Soul Kitchen Volunteers

If you would like to shout lunch for a community member who may be homeless, financially disadvantaged and/or isolated…please donate to the Soul Kitchen. Soul Kitchen run a Sunday lunch in Katoomba and are desperately in need of funds…so go on, let’s do lunch…your shout!

Just a few dollars will mean that there will be someone next Sunday afternoon who won’t be hungry.

Earth Recovery developing web site for Western Sydney education centre

DSC_0074We are currently developing a free web site for the African Australian Education Centre in Western Sydney which helps children of refugees to catch up with their education.

We have been able to provide a volunteer photographer and web designer and the web site is getting close to completion. Have a look at www.africanaustralianeducation.com

It’s not finished yet but starting to look great!

The Education Centre is looking for volunteers. If you have a teaching, music or arts background please let us know and we will direct you to the right person.

Soul Kitchen – a great success!

DSC_0880 The Blue Mountains Soul Kitchen has been operating over the holiday period serving 70 lunches created by our wonderful chef, Steve.  The Soul Kitchen has just completed the third week of a six week trial.We have been able to feed and help people over the holiday period thanks to our wonderful sponsors and volunteers.
