The aims of this project are to reduce landfill waste by rescuing unwanted food from local restaurants and cafes and re-distributing this food to where it is most needed.

 

Thank you to all the businesses and community services representatives that attended the  Food Rescue Forum hosted by Blue Mountains City Council and Earth Recovery Australia.  It was a great success and your participation and input is valued and appreciated.

 

 

We have formed a Food Rescue Working Party to create goals, strategies and implement action.  If you are interested in becoming involved in the working party, please let us know.
